Apparently the doctor is on medical leave for a long time and we were seen by their assistant. This was not a recent thing - so why did they make an appointment for us to see a doctor who was definitely not going to be there?The whole thing was a disaster. This appointment was for an 82 year old woman in a delicate state. The assitant said she needed a test but because she technically was not a doctor she didn't have the clearance to request this test, so the facility she sent us to next door said we couldn't get the test until it was signed by the pulmonology doctor, and not this assistant. But there’s no doctor so we got nowhere. Anyways during the visit she also didnt even check her or provide any sort of medical assistance or guidance on her pulmonology situation at all. Someone requiring a pulmonologist is a delicate patient and these people are putting peoples lives in danger by promising doctor evaluation and attention and then not delivering on that promise AT ALL.
