This is a warning to anyone who may have a surgery or procedure and be assigned anesthesiologist Peter Craig. I had the unfortunate luck to be assigned to him at Riva Road Surgical Center for anesthesia services. I understand he also takes assignments at Anne Arundel Medical Center. If he is assigned to you, I would recommend that you refuse his services.He completely ignored my drug sensitivities and my wishes. Although my medical records clearly stated that I had documented serious adverse and paradoxical reactions to this drug, negating the purpose of this particular drug, and I specifically told him not to administer it, he did anyway, and then lied to me. There were other issues with him, but this was the most egregious. I had a significant adverse and allergic reaction, as expected, and had a horrible anesthesia experience. He seemingly administers anesthesia via a cookie cutter approach that may be convenient for him, but not patient centered.
