There should be more like Dr. White. Meadville has a jewel in their otolaryngologist. Good knowledge and a balanced approach. He saw me through a time of acute illness during which I also had a swollen salivary gland. Another doctor would have been quick to operate though my medical 'plate' was full to overflowing at that time and as an elderly person, an added operation would have been a strain. He deferred operating on my gland; I will have to have it done elsewhere; however, he kept abreast of the status of the gland through sonograms and a biopsy to ensure the gland was negative for cancer. A much needed rest from all the medical turmoil I experienced.
