15 days after Dr. Coombs did a Vitrectomy, I lost vision. Called Dr. Coombs office and was told he wanted to see me, but he was in Ogden. I originally saw him in Millcreek and had the surgery at LDS hospital. But now I am asked to drive with one eye to Ogden? I asked for another option and was told I didn't have one. I found another surgeon who took the time to see me on a rush basis. Good thing, I had developed a large retina and macula detachment and had surgery the next day. Dr. Coombs bed manners could be much better. I did not see him after the surgery. The hospital staff did the discharge with paperwork that wasn't even related to the surgery I just had. Pitiful experience.
