Dr. Hamm is monitoring my lung condition. He’s been forthright, has answered all my questions, and is generally reassuring and knowledgeable. He gets to the point; he explains things clearly; he addresses my concerns. From my experience, that’s better, and more useful than many doctors.Unfortunately, though, Dr.Hamm’s bedside manner got stuck in a snow storm and never quite thawed out. Nevertheless, I do believe he cares for his patients in a straight forward manner, and I trust his professionalism. I agree that his staff is not always friendly, and even occasionally borderline rude. The patient meets the staff first, the doctor secondly. At all times, kindness counts.
