The staff failed for weeks to submit a necessary Prior Authorization (PA) for my prescribed hormonal medication, leading to an abrupt, medically unsupervised stop in treatment.When I brought the issue to the physician, he responded by denying the appropriate patch I requested for medical reasons (due to adhesive failure with generics) and then attempted to issue an unauthorized birth control prescription without my consent.This behavior forced me to file a formal complaint with the Medical Board of California and an Urgent Independent Medical Review (IMR) with the DMHC. I urge patients to seek care from a provider who adheres to safe prescribing and documentation standards.
