I have been trying to reach him about a new prescription that I have chosen not to take. The side effects outweigh the benefit s. I have been without any medication for MDD for a week and a half. No one returns your calls or emails. It is very frustrating!

Dr. Smith was treating my daughter who has severe mental disability and been on the same medications for over 8 years. It took several years to find the right dosage regime that keep her stable. When her Dr retired, someone recommended this guy. When she had her first appt with him he said he would continue the same meds. After only 3 visits he suddenly tells her he?s changing her dosage & weaning her off 2 of her meds with no explanation??!?I thought maybe she was confused so I reached out to him (I have medical POA) & he said because she filed a few police reports saying her meds were stolen that it was concerning. He never bothered to ask her at her appt what happened or why she reported them stolen. She never asked him for early refills or had drug seeking behavior. I advised him that she had just ended an abusive relationship w BF, who broke in to her apt several times. He then ?sent a letter through email? terminating relationship. No warning? He showed no respect for my daughter and didn’t even bother to discuss terminating the relationship with her. He simply sent an email after I questioned him for suddenly changing her meds. He penalized her for being an abuse victim. He didn’t bother to find out why she filed the reports. He terminated the relationship via email without talking to her. It’s strange to me that this guy is in this profession with the lack of respect that he showed. This review is true. It’s not made up. I wish it wasn’t true.
