I went in for a second opinion. She jumped to recommending surgery to cut out a precancerous lesion. When I brought up the amount of tissue being excised, it was like she didn’t even consider it. When she recommended the surgery, I was surprised because I had a biopsy completed under local anesthesia. The recommended excision was the size of a dime. Something that could be done in-office at a much more affordable cost. I recommended going back to immunotherapy to do a longer round. I did & it worked in conjunction with healing my gut from a H. pylori infection & using food grade hydrogen peroxide to minimize the lesion. The worst thing about this visit is wouldn’t look me in the eye. I was also slapped with a “new patient fee.”
