Patient Reviews
Jan 15, 2026
Both questions and statements post-procedure were met with condescension. Patient, 'I have a family history of X.' Doctor, 'Why would that have anything to do with this?' Keep in mind that the patient is still loopy and waking from anesthesia. Patient advocate, 'There's been significant weight loss over the last year.' Doctor, 'Why was the diet so poor before?' Doctor, 'This is an impressive case of this given the younger age,' with no further explanation until pulled out of him. Usually impressive is not a word used to describe something so troubling. A doctor should be mindful that patients just want answers and uninformed questions should be met with informed answers, not condescending ones.
