I’m writing this now because I just discovered this site to share my experience. Dr. Moore completed a full hip replacement on me. It was NOT successful as I’m in worse condition than before the surgery. I walk lopsided with the hip at a higher level, over 1 inch gait. I noticed within a few days of anterior approach surgery in which he told me it’ll settle after it begins to heal and physical therapy. I faithfully did PT - it’s been over year. I expected a better outcome but I received either a wrong size replacement piece or and I was measured incorrectly. 2nd opinion doc said only and best way to be “even” again is to get a custom shoe lift (not an option) or have opposite hip replaced (it is not injured) to match the other. This would change my height to an additional 1 or more inches which is not a desire and it would alter my slacks. Dr. M. has a very nice personality but never admitted this surgery was not successful (it wd cost him $). Saddened healthy 50 yr old.
