I wish I could give less than a one star review. This review is for Dr. Khashayar and the office staff at Muir Pulmonary Critical Care. I have been suffering from excessive daytime sleepiness for more years than I can remember and it has absolutely altered my entire life. Turns out, I have narcolepsy which I believed I had and Dr. Khashayar repeatedly down-player my symptoms. He made it out like my symptoms were A-typical of narcolepsy, which I now know, was incorrect as I have since joined a group of others with the disease to help me cope. When he diagnosed me, he wouldn’t answer my questions as he was too busy on his cell phone and kept telling me to hold on (no idea what he was doing, texting, googling narcolepsy?) In addition to that horrible experience...the office staff repeatedly has made appointments and then re-scheduled them without letting me know. They do not email or call to confirm so I have no idea what is going on.
