I saw Dr Rak 2 years ago for pain in my lower lumbar area and some neck pain due to arthritis, I had an MRI done amd he said my neck needed surgery or i risked paralysis. He assured me I would feel 100% better and be out of the hospital probably in 3 days and a very small incision would also alleviate any arthritis pain. I had the surgery Oct 2022 and 18 months later, I am in pain everyday, had a 5 inch incision and spent 10 days in the hospital. My advice, seek a second opinion and be sure any cervical neck surgery is absolutely necessary. If i were to do it over, I wouldn't..
