Patient Reviews
Jan 27, 2026
Surgery in the new hospital in San Marcos. Dr. Luo and his surgery team were A plus. I'm an old guy and went to a 6th floor hospital room to recover for a few days. (Took photos of my incisions to email to my friends a few days later.) Able to take small steps the next morning. Able to slowly walk to the end of the corridor and back (maybe 40 feet in each direction) by that evening. Post-op care was remarkable, my nurse (Lindsey) spent the time to persuade me to get out of bed under my own power the first morning and provided attentive day nursing throughout my stay there. PA Cacioppo prescribed a potent, non-narcotic in place of morphine and that was EXACTLY the right med for my intense abdominal pain. The night nurse (Raquel) understood my evening shoulder pain (pre-existing rotary cuff syndrome) and provided hot packs three nights in a row which provided excellent relief. Post-op care team was A plus.
