I had issues with my toenails for over 5 years and was seen by 3 separate podiatrists over that period. The first doctor, without submitting a lab sample, diagnosed and treated nail fungus which had zero improvement. The 2nd and 3rd doctors each submitted samples to lab testing for fungus and both were negative. The 2nd doctor had no plan nor any idea of how to repair my nails. The 3rd doctor said I could try an expensive medication for a year (which she sold in office, but she could not guarantee any positive results. I opted out. Finally I was referred to Dr. Meberg, and I was elated to have her explain exactly what the problem was. She spent time educating me about why my nails could not be restored to their original condition. She then helped me tremendously by coming up with choices for viable alternatives with acceptable results. As long as she is practicing, I will definitely seek her professional and intelligent expertise in podiatry.
