I tried CPAP and BiPAP machines and like 50% of the people who try them, I just couldn't tolerate them. Felt like I was underwater. Dr. Parmar's office is small, with friendly, caring, staff who are careful and professional, which matters since they're an important part of the process. Dr. Parmar herself is nothing short of an evangelist when it comes to how important good sleep is how valuable an oral appliance can be in dealing with apnea, and quite honestly I'm a convert: the process, from original exam, to fitting, to fine-tuning adjustments, to check-in visits, has been all you could ask for in a healthcare provider. The results really tell the story: with the device, my AHI and oxygen levels are within the normal-people range, my day to day life no longer involves fatigue, and my spouse sleeps with me in the same room again. I dearly wish every medical problem had a solution like this, and that every provider were as effective at providing the solution.
