Dr. Weiss did not have time to answer my questions, shortly after my heart ablation procedure in July. I wanted to know what to expect when I got home. He jokingly told me that he would leave that up to the discharge nurse, because he may tell me something wrong. I was given a piece of paper that focused on wound care. On a Saturday, three days later, when I did experience the same symptoms that put me into the hospital, I called his office to find out if this was normal. No one returned my call. No one called me on Sunday and No one called me on Monday. I had to phone his office to notify him of my continued symptoms, only to speak with two different nurses, both of whom gave me differing answers. At this point, I assume the procedure was successful, but am required to wear a monitor for 30 days in order to detect anything he may have missed. I do not care to follow up with him and my attempts to schedule a follow-up with another doctor in this practice have been unsuccessful.
