I needed a neurologist for a medical screening and Dr. Patel was available quickly. My first appointment went well despite me having to drive 3 hours to go to this appointment. I had follow up testing to do next. I drove 3 hours there to find a sign on the door saying the office is closed and all appointments were cancelled. There was no advance notice at all: no call, no text, no email. So I wasted 6 hours on the road and a headache for 2 days afterwards for nothing. I cancelled my future testings with him because if I didn't even get the common courtesy of an email, why should I bother going 3 hours out of my way anymore? Apparently I forgot to cancel the phone appointment after the testings were supposed to be done. I decided to waste his time just like he wasted mine. He asked if I can reschedule the tests and I said no and told him why. He got mad and had an attitude with me and said "what did you expect me to do?" I excepted the common courtesy of some kind of notification. I expected the professionalism of a medical facility to notify patients that take time out of their day for the appointments. He got mad and hung up on me. If I could give 0 stars I would. No doctor should have an attitude with a patient that is angry for a completely valid reason. No doctor should hang up on their patients phone appointments. Dr. Patel is NOT a professional worth anyone's time. Dr. Patel does not deserve to be called a professional.
