After doing my husband exam and setting up a plan to fix two crowns we agreed to be back in forty five minutes for them to do the work. When we came back Dr Patel and an associate met us in the parking lot to tell us we would not be a patient there because I had spoken against another dental office. I had told them the dentist we had seen was not personable and that the fees there, were higher, so we wanted to try someone else. We told them we appreciated that Dr Patel was actually personal and didn’t only speak to her assistant, like Dr Powers at Dental Care at Braselton had done. I said, “why would I go to a cotton picken dental office where it will cost more and there is no personal connection?” From the time I had said that, they did the exam, made a treatment plan and we signed to have the work done, came back forty five minutes later and were accused of racism. Dr Powers, being a black man, is not the problem! Wanting to charge over a grand more and not being personable are.
