Dr. Stachniak is a caring, amazing Neurosurgeon who saved my husband's life after having a traumatic brain injury caused from vertigo from a chronic brain bleed. She was very thorough in her assessment and management of my husband's symptoms to make the both of us comfortable with the craniotomy that had to be done. Methodist hospital and the staff were professional, caring and took excellent care of my husband while he was there. Dr. Stachniak gave me my husband back, and he is improving every day! I would entrust her with my life as she is a conscientious, empathetic, and highly skilled neurosurgeon who excels at her profession! We drove from Dallas (who has lots of neurosurgeons) down to San Antonio to specifically be under her care because she is that good! We are blessed to have found her.
