'My daughter had an appointment to see Dr Brooker to get a second opinion on a wrist problem. She was in pain, unable to sleep, and in desperate need of guidance. After providing all requested information, making an appointment with Dr Brookers office, and then waiting patiently for the date, two days before the appointment, the office called to inform us that her appointment had been abruptly cancelled because she had already seen another doctor. We frantically explained that this was a second opinion, that we had followed all the procedures and rules to make the appointment, and were in desperate need of help, but we were told it didn’t matter, this was Dr Brookers policy, and the appointment had already been cancelled. There was no concern or interest in helping my daughter, and no recognition of the fact that after following the scheduling rules and waiting for the appointment she was being left high and dry in a painful condition. Not the kind of doctor I want for my daughter. '
