First time there was ok. No one could hold a candle to my old ophthalmologist Thomas Reavell, so I made allowances. Didn’t feel like I got all the attention I deserved. Office told me my insurance and Medicare covered the diabetic exam so I went for it. Guess what? Nope it did not. 2 years later appt 90% of my visit was an assistant. Dr came in and gave me 5 minutes attention and maybe 5 more distracted with other things. Not real impressed, didn’t seem focused. Hmm … Nice enough, but considering worsening cataracts and astigmatism I felt he was a bit cavalier about how poorly my vision was being corrected. Oh, just come back in 6 months. Maybe you’ll need cataract surgery, maybe we can keep correcting until it’s 2-3 x this bad. All in all, just didn’t have a great deal of confidence in the experience.
