Dr. Fields, a kind, soft-spoken and gentle physician. He was truly wonderful, up until perimenopause. In 2018 (43 years old), changes during my menstrual cycle began, most notably extreme fatigue. I brought this to his attention and was dismissed with, “women’s bodies are always changing.” Countless new symptoms developed and escalated. In 2023 a (GYN) female hormone specialist diagnosed me with full blown perimenopause and Hashimoto. (developing an autoimmune disease as a result of perimenopause is common, especially if untreated). Essentially, Dr. Fields failed to properly screen and diagnose the onset of perimenopause having caused me years of unnecessary suffering.With regard to his office staff, they left little to be desired—unhappy, unhelpful and unkind.
