I was,reluctant to see Dr. Parham today bc my this was my dads' urologist and my dad told me that Dr. Parham likes to push unessary tests on his patients. But I couldn't see Dr. McCurdy because of an unexpected emergency he had to tend to in Mansfield. I have seen Dr. Parham one other time back in 2018, and he immediately ordered me to have a Loop-O-Gram. I didn't have it because of issues in the past...and I still won't. But Dr. Parham suggested I have a CT Scan w/o contrast of my one and only right kidney to check for any swelling, as I have chronic kidney infections. I'm willing to go for that test, but I told the receptionist that in the future, that I prefer to see Dr. McCurdy. Sure, Dr. Parham is thorough and such, but I don't like his pushiness when it comes to tests. And I DID say "no" to any Loop -O-Gram tests in the future. And I was pleased that he didn't push with that. I just was NEVER comfortable seeing Dr. Parham.
