Patient Reviews
Mar 25, 2024
I was initially diagnosed having MS. A lesion was found in my spine, after having a MRI. I had fallen 3 times, twice in one year. The last fall was very difficult. After he reviewed my MRI report, and looked a the lesion, he let me know I did not have MS, but a Syrinx had developed in my spine. I was in a lot of pain. Not only in body, but in heart...my mother was dying and I was helpless. My mental capacity was directly effecting my physical capacity. I didn't want to accept that train of thought, but I can see now how the two can go together. Dr. Shin took his time to talk to me and my husband and offer suggestions on how to manage my pain. Both, of the body and of the heart. I was grateful for our conversation.
