Patient Reviews
Jan 19, 2026
In 2016, I saw this doctor because I had a varicose vein. He persuaded me that I needed an ablation of the great saphenous vein, showed me photos of how my appearance would improve. After the ablation, a hole above my ankle appeared. He told me after declaring it was from friction of compression stocking: “I’ve done everything I can do for you. Don’t come back.” His nurse followed me outside and whispered to take care of it and it would heal in a few months. It didn’t. The small hole grew into a 4x6 inch open wound on my leg. Extremely painful EVERY moment to this day. Wound has been infected by bacteria in our water, MRSA, cellulitis, sepsis. Multiple hospital trips, thousands and thousands of $ on bandages and so much pain. In 2016, I was jogging several miles a day. Now I’m in a wheelchair due to ablation of GSV. Also do a google search on PVA.
