Horrible doctor. If I could go back in time and choose a different doctor to perform my surgery, I would. Personally, I would highly not recommend him. Had a 30-45 minute surgery with Dr. Shirley and he spoke to me for about 30 seconds pre-op. After surgery, he didn’t have the decency to speak to me or my family post-op. My sister was waiting for 2.5 hours with no update on my condition. When the post-op nurse called her that I was ready to be picked up, even she was surprised that the doctor had already left for the day without speaking to her. His lack of communication and empathy for his patients is ridiculous. Good to know that his patients don’t even deserve 1 minute of his time.
