I’ve taken my daughter to Mount Nittany multiple times, and Dr. Huffard is her primary care provider. Every time I’ve brought her in while she was sick, I was told she was “completely fine.” But each time, I ended up taking her to Penn Highlands afterward because I knew something wasn’t right. That’s where we found out she actually had pneumonia. Another visit, we were told again that she was fine—yet she turned out to have a double ear infection. The doctors at the hospital were honestly shocked that a pediatrician missed something that severe. Based on my experiences, I do not feel he is someone you can trust with your child’s care. I’m not sure what’s going on there, but in my opinion, it is not in your child’s best interest.
