For almost 2 years, I have been under the care of Dr. Travez, whose treatment I have always appreciated. Recently, I received a letter informing me that my patient relationship with Dr. Travez had been terminated, citing a 'late cancellation'. As a patient, I have consistently adhered to appointment schedules and have always been punctual. I had to reschedule an annual physical on my chart due to conflicts with my work schedule, and to my surprise, I received notice of termination shortly after. The question arises: if the cancellation was considered too late, then why is the option to reschedule available on my chart? I believe that if Dr. Travez genuinely cared about his patients, he would have reached out before severing our relationship. Receiving a cancellation fee would have been more understandable than being completely cut off as a patient due to rescheduling the day prior. I have no desire to have a physician who treats patients in this manner, especially when I share life-alt
