Patient Reviews

Horrible. Would not recommend!Dr. Banegas was my surgeon to repair my elbow after an injury that I sustained. After my surgery, I kept telling him that I was having pain on the opposite side of my elbow. He told me that 'it was in my head' and that 'physical therapy will help'. Well PT did help one side of my elbow and I got a second opinion. The second MRI showed that Dr. Banegas was only focused on repairing the severe tennis elbow, abd overlooked a substantial tear in my Ulnar Collateral Ligament (Tommy John lugament) and that my ulnar nerve was entrapped. Now 7 months after my initial surgery that I thought fixed my elbow I have to have a more emergent surgery to fix the UCL and get the nerve unwrapped in my elbow. If Dr. Banegas would have just looked at the entire elbow and not just one side, I would not be having to have additional work done.I wish I would have done my homework on him and made a better choice for a surgeon
