If you care about your mental health, DON’T go to this doctor. I’d been waiting two months for an appointment to change pills he’d prescribed that were giving horrible side effects. After waiting two hours for my turn, the secretary mentions that their ATM system’s been down all day and can only accept cash, which I didn’t have. Desperate, I try to talk to see what could be done, since I had not been told this in the two hours waiting and could have easily taken out money at a machine before. After trying to talk to the doctor various times, I hear him loudly scream to the secretary that “I had to accept that he did not care about my situation and that no money meant no meeting”. I suffer from BPD and extreme anxiety, and hearing this led to an intense panic attack with me sobbing + self-harming in the office, yet no one cared. Is this how a psychiatrist is supposed to treat patients in need during a violent episode? Even my psychologist was aghast and quickly recommended someone new.
