Dr. Foran was very rude to my daughter when we went in there for fast heart rate and swelling on the ankles at night. He referred all of her problems to her weight, which yes, she was chunky but she wasn’t that overweight. My daughter went on for the next 3 years until she turned 18 and was a mr to go to a adult cardiologist who discovered that she had 2 holes in her heart and had to have heart surgery. Thank God the more responsible and educated cardiologist focused on his job and not my daughters weight. We were told at the time of her surgery that if they had not discovered her problem within the next few years, they would of not been able to repair her heart and her life expectancy would of only been 35 years old! Now my daughter has tons of energy and no longer has the heart palpitations and difficulty breathing as she had in the past. If he would of looked into her complaints then instead of focusing our visit on her weight we could of prevented the damage that has begun.
