Patient Reviews
Mar 16, 2025
I saw Dr. Nzara in 2023 to have my gallbladder removed. She was very nice and seemed confident and prepared. After my surgery, she told my husband and I that I had a lot of stones, but she ‘thought she got them all’. Guess what? She didn’t. No die test was performed during my surgery to check. What followed was a nightmare. I developed a blocked bile duct, pancreatitis, and an inflamed, infected liver. The fact that it took days for her to acknowledge that my symptoms weren’t normal for post surgery is inexcusable, and her only solution was to tell me to go to the emergency room, where I was told that this was a life threatening situation. She was unable to perform the second surgery I needed to remove the stones from my bile duct. I still don’t understand why. I had to be transported to another hospital in order to receive the surgery. This was a terrifying, excruciatingly painful experience which could have been prevented. I wish I had never gone to her in the first place.
