No scar bunion surgery amazing

My big toe was hurting very bad to the point I couldn’t be active anymore. I didn’t know if I had a bone or tendon problem. Dr. Sherick in Thousand Oaks was incredibly comforting and an XR where he became suspicious of what he called a cartilage lesion or defect in my big toe joint. He ordered an MRI and was able to see that he was right about having the big toe cartilage injury. After trying everything I decided to get it fixed to get my life back. He explained that he could do a big toe scope with a tiny camera in the joint to see the cartilage injury. He then through another poke hole said he’d fix the damaged cartilage with bio cartilage like stem cells mixed with platelet rich plasma to re grow the cartilage. I did this procedure with Dr. Sherick and it went amazing and after only a couple weeks was without pain and got back into my shoes with custom made orthotics that had the cool Apex Foot & Ankle Institute logo on it! I’ve now been back to my normal life for awhile now and couldn’t thank Dr Sherick and his staff at Apex Foot and Ankle more!! It’s simple. If you’re living anywhere near Westlake Village or Calabasas then make your life easier my seeing Dr Sherick as he’s not like every other doctor! He will give you your life back and truly cares about you!

I had painful bunions that I didn't want to have fixed as I've heard it's so painful with huge scars. Dr. Sherick was a breath of fresh air with explaining his minimally invasive bunion surgery. I was so taken away at his expertise and bedside manner! Highly recommend him as I had perfect surgery with little to no pain! I can't see scars and I feel better than ever! What a life changer Dr. Sherick is for foot and ankle surgery!

I broke my ankle years ago and developed pain and bone on bone arthritis of the ankle . I saw many doctors who told me they weren’t good at the surgery I needed which was a total ankle replacement. Two doctors recommended me to see Dr. Sherick as he specializes in this type of surgery. Once meeting Dr. Sherick he was very kind, intelligent and explained everything in detail. I had the total ankle replacement 6 months ago and couldn’t rave more about how amazing this doctor is for total ankle replacement surgery as I’ve never felt better since my original accident. He’s so sweet and charming as well! Highly recommend!

After going to multiple foot surgeons in Los Angeles and never feeling comfortable with a doctor to do my surgery I found Dr. Sherick. Dr. Sherick is the kindest foot surgeon, smartest foot surgeon and explained everything in detail making me feel very comfortable with my bunion surgery. I decided to get minimally invasive bunion surgery with Dr Sherick instead of the traditional open procedure as I wanted faster recovery , less pain and correction of my deformity. Surgery was a breeze and he had me walking immediately in a hard surgical shoe. I had no pain after surgery and basically no swelling! Can’t even see my scars now and I’ve never had my feet feel better ! Highly recommend Dr. Sherick for bunion surgery minimally invasive. He’s doing my next foot and couldn’t recommend him enough!

I recently underwent a complex reconstruction of my ankle and foot for ankle instability and ankle arthritis and I was so nervous but Dr. Sherick was with me every step of the way. He explained the procedure thoroughly and answered all of my questions, which helped put my mind at ease. Throughout the entire process, Dr. Sherick and his team were supportive, professional, and compassionate. He's a skilled and knowledgeable surgeon who truly cares about his patients! I've already recommended him to my family, and they've all had positive experiences with him as well. Best foot and ankle surgeon in Southern California!
