Dr Martyr was supposed to be seeing me for neoadjuvant care, (aka start chemo before anything else), which my Surgeon recommended. She did not appear to be aware of this and those exact words were in the surgeons visit notes and on the referral. She obviously did not read either of those items or research my case. She proceeded to tell me that chemo was IF.....I needed to have genetic testing FIRST and the results would take 2-3 weeks. She also asked to see my wound and seemed surprised when there were only small punctures from my biopsy. She then proceeded to assess my left armpit ( my cancer is only on the right) and ask me if I was still having pain and swelling there. When I asked about natural supplements that could be taken in coordination with chemo, she then stressed again IF I get chemo. When I named some specific things I was interested in taking she laughed at me and acted like no ones ever asked this question before. There is much more but I'm out of room here.
