I went to see the Dr regarding severe back pain. She questioned me for just a minute or two, did no real examination, and said I have to go to the ER because she can't get the proper radiological studies at her facility. She was incredibly curt, rude, and condescending. I had made an appointment because I wanted to avoid the ER and urgent care because of the intense pain and knew it would be a problem to sit and wait. Of course, the Dr insisted she could do nothing. I believe she could do nothing because, in my opinion, she didn't want to deal with it.I then went to urgent care (instead of the ER) and the PA examined me closely and gave me a couple of prescriptions, said to rest (as if I had a choice) and said if it doesn't clear up in a couple weeks go to my primary. It did clear up. The PA diagnosed it correctly! The PA not the Dr.
