I was diagnosed with gout several years ago. I kept my uric acid level down as much as I could by staying on a strict diet and taking appropriate vitamins. I had maybe one gout attack a year. Then my nightmare began. I was referred to Dr. Fereidouni as my new family doctor who informed me that my uric acid level was too high and that I needed to take Uloric in order to lower it. As of last Christmas I have had six gout attacks...that is six in four months. I have not heard from Dr. Fereidouni, the patient portal is a joke and the office does not seem to care.
