I recently saw this man at a cancer center only to leave feeling interrogated and invalidated. After spending weeks worried about leukemia, I come in to get harassed and shamed about a hospital stay I had 2.5 years ago and a lecture on smoking. He failed to notice the recent bloodwork I had done that looked great other than an elevated WBC. Also, after the fact that I said I was trying to stop smoking AND have never been a heavy smoker. That past hospital stay was irrelevant to my visit with him and one of the worst moments of my life being bedridden and told I was going to die soon.I called the cancer center back to file a complaint only to be told he’s a traveling doctor and that was his last day, he also had several other complaints and will unlikely practice there again. I then found he was affiliated with another medical center in FL so I called them as well to find out he also NO longer has privileges to practice there. So is he traveling because he keeps losing privileges?
