Patient Reviews
Mar 28, 2025
My experience with Dr. Selesnick was really subpar. I was a new patient to him. He did not show what I call a great bedside manner. There was barely any eye contact, discussion about my results, plan of care, or what I should expect. He asked why I was there but quickly cut me off and said he knew what was going on by reviewing my chart. He talked mostly to himself, and did not ask if I had any questions, any concerns or if I understood everything. He did not even know that I already completed some of his recommendations. He was certainly in rush and took me to another room to make an appointment for something I did not need. When I asked a simple question about my condition it was brushed off with a generic answer in front of others in the waiting area. For a senior academic physician who teaches others, this was not what I expected. This might have been just a bad day for sure but I hope there is some reflections.
