She was the hospital Dr on call when I had my knee replacement. She has either not been in a painful situation or really does not care if patients are in pain. Original rx 5mg 20 tablets, take one tablet every 4 hours as needed for pain (this would be an rx for like a knee strain) I told the nurse this was not nearly strong enough- he had just given me 10mg less than 30 minutes ago. He said he would call Dr. Kabsoun for stronger meds. The 2nd time she wrote: take 1 tablet by mouth every 4 hours as needed for severe pain. This is a 7 day supply. 28 10mg tablets this was short over 2 days worth of pain relief. Drs who do not want to give pain relief are just sadistic, with the changing medical advantages no one should have to be in pain. We don't let our pets be in pain but we are expected to be in pain. She should know the amount of pain expected after each surgery and prescribe according.
