Patient Reviews
Feb 20, 2023
Maybe this is a UF scheduling/her super thoroughness problem. All patients start the cleanse at 6pm the day before, regardless of whether their procedure is for 7am or noon. Then when i arrive for my noon appointment, I am informed she is running an hour late, but if I leave the premises, i lose my appointment. So they take me back at 1pm, start the IV and I sit there for 2 hours. Unless I have to use the restroom due to all the iv fluids, not fun with the gown, iv and needing asistance. Folks in the pre op room and procedure room were friendly once I finally got there! The recovery room nurse and I closed the place after 5:30 pm. IF YOU KNOW SHE IS THAT THOROUGH, SCHEDULE ACCORDINGLY. Then because of the long wait and bile production continuing, readings are not clear and I have to go through this again in 3 years instead of 5! (Note family history of dementia so more frequent anesthesia is NOT optimal.) Procedures not any better a year later when hubby was supposed to go there.
