After a visit to 'urgent care' where 2 different doctors tried to get a broken needle out of my foot without a result, I was sent to Salem hospital. Dr. there also couldn't get it out and suggested I just leave it in. This was vertical in my heel ! My primary care Dr. got me an emergency referral to Coastal foot & heel clinic that day where I saw Dr. Scott Berg who extracted it with no problem. I might add that the shot he gave me was virtually painless. Thank you Doctor Berg.
