This was my third surgery at The Hand Center in 12 months. I have always been treated with compassion and respect. Upon my request, Dr. Huff researched and then prescribed a new, non opioid post op med that inhibits the pain receptors at the nerve. I appreciate his open mindedness, for not only did the new med work, it worked exponentially better than the opioid med I was prescribed for my left shoulder surgery 13 months ago. Also the three day nerve block was wonderful. My post op pain never got above a 2. My left shoulder only got a 24 hour nerve block, was treated with opioid post op meds, and reached a pain level of 8.
