I had been having significant pain in my left knee. I wanted an examination of it. I have osteoarthritis, and from the intensity of the pain, it felt like I developed it in the left knee. Dr McGinley treated me with no respect. He barely examined the knee. He did not ask any significant questions about whether I had been having trouble walking or about my level of pain. He barely looked at the X-ray he ordered. Then he delivered his "diagnosis" with HIS BACK TURNED TO ME: "You have a little arthritis." I knew from the intensity of the pain it was more than that. I consulted my Primary, and he ordered MRIs of both knees, which showed my left knee had practically NO cartilage, multiple bone spurs, and 3 meniscus tears! Consulting another orthpedist was like night and day: the second one asked me questions, EXAMINED the knee, studied the X-Ray and the MRI. Result: a total knee replacement of a "rotten" knee. Would NOT recommend McGinley.
