Dr. Ormonds skills as a Clinician are good. Treatment options proposed are comprehensive, outpatient trigger procedures are available without question; however medication refills are viewed with skepticism; often ignored… as a result, many prescriptions (over past 8 mo) were never called in to pharmacy. Some reasons: “Dr. Ormond is unavailable,’ ‘check with your pharmacy-I phoned it in, ‘medical assistant is with another patient’, ‘left your message for the doctor’, ‘he’s in surgery all day’. ‘you will need another appointment for medication refills’”…these are some responses given by office staff. In my opinion, reciprocity, trust, and open communication is of vital importance in the doctor-patient relationship.

From the very beginning, Dr. Ormond actively listened to my concerns, thoroughly evaluated my condition, and worked collaboratively with me to develop a personalized pain management plan. What sets Dr. Ormond apart is his genuine care and compassion towards his patients. He was incredibly patient when answering my questions and took the time to clearly explain the treatment options available. I really felt like he made an effort to understand and address my pain rather than just writing a prescription.
