I had a very concerning experience with this physician during an emergency department visit.From the start, the doctor seemed frustrated and dismissive. I was repeatedly interrupted while describing worsening pain, nausea, and other symptoms affecting my ability to function, and did not feel my concerns were taken seriously.During the encounter, the physician raised his voice and communicated in a way that felt unprofessional. A friend present also witnessed this behavior.I understand EDs are high-stress environments, but this does not excuse poor communication. Patients deserve respect, professionalism, and dignity. I left feeling dismissed, unsupported, and unsure how to move forward with my care.
