Dr Harding was not knowledgeable about diabetes and the basic tenants of managing the diagnosis. She was not proactive in her approach and actually recommended only annual bloodwork to manage and check my A1c even when I mentioned my retiring internal medicine doctor had checked labs quarterly since my numbers had fluctuated significantly over the last few years. She seemed more concerned about 'over prescribing lab work' (her words) than actually monitoring my health. I'll be finding another primary care physician who seems to understand the importance of keeping a diagnosis like diabetes in check if you really want to improve your overall health.
