My former migraine doctor, who I loved, retired. Before he retired, I moved over an hour away from his office, so I thought I’d find a doctor closer to me. My insurance steered me toward this doctor. I saw this doctor over a year ago after moving and soon after, I switched back to my prior doctor because Dr. Stankus was impossible to get ahold of. He sent the wrong form of my prescription to the pharmacy. They tried to contact him and I tried as well, but couldn’t get ahold of him. And he never responded to MyChart where I sent several messages. For a specialist, or any other doctor really, this is unacceptable. After the doctor I loved retired, I gave him one more try. It was a waste of my time. He said I had to go to my primary care doctor for my break through meds but then prescribed me some meds. Makes no sense.
