I am the spouse of the potential patient. My husband knew what procedure he wanted based on recommendations of a friend and person research. Provided imaging ordered by other potential surgeons to Dr via his associate. First misstep was that the office never sent a request for imaging in a different position. After a couple of weeks never did receive the order so called; didn't send. Did send then but the order was sent to a facility that did not do that type of imagining. Second one...same. We called locally and found a place that did. We heard nothing for 3 weeks from office even though multiple calls and messages left, no replies. Finally we heard from insurance company that the authorization was not made. A review was asked by clinic rep. and also denied (according to insurance co); learned through insurance not clinic. Clinic never kept us in the 'loop' on what was happening and status of possible surgery. Very disappointed in lack of communication.
