I was a patient of Dr. Paley's for a number of years. She always seemed very informative with what the medications she prescribed did scientifically, and so I trusted her to make the right decisions for me. However, this turned out to be a mistake. She prescribed a medication to me at a MUCH higher dosage for a MUCH longer time than is medically recommended, and never told me that there could be any risks. I started to develop severe, life threatening symptoms, which she did not recognize as being caused by the medication, and so I continued taking them until a different doctor easily identified the problem. My life was at serious risk, and Dr. Paley refused to take responsibility when we spoke about it. I now do all my own research about any medication I take, because I have learned that even a doctor who seems very informative will not always tell you important, life saving information. I do not recommend seeing her.
