I saw Dr. Mehta today for a consultation and found her to be abrupt, arrogant and too busy to answer my questions. I know she was rushed and running behind and this was reflected in how she handled my appointment. I may have caught her on a bad day as we all have them, but I think a surgeon has to put their patient's needs ahead of their own especially when it comes to discussing delicate surgery near the eye. Dr. Mehta, a little kindness and compassion goes a long way in reassuring your patients that they are in good hands, and that you care about them and their surgical outcome. I did not find this to be the case and was somewhat offended by your demeanor. I have seen many doctors and have never walked out of an appointment, until now.
